“ Would love to have given 5 stars, but the customer service wasn't there. We had the La Belle pizza and a tri tip sandwich. Pizza is cooked outside in the wood fire over. It was delicious! Perfectly cooked. Tri tip sandwiche was juicy and flavorful as well As for the service, the woman who helped us was t very pleasant. We didn't feel exactly feel "welcomed" They had a seating area inside with football on and we tried to sit in there but she told us to go outside. It was a nice day so that was fine, just wish they had the tv on outside. Overall a great little gem hidden in the mountains, I would definitely recommend checking it out and hope to go back again. ”
“ We'd been meaning to try Nonno's for ages and finally did so this summer. We've kept coming back as it's a perfect treat after a trail run in the Santa Cruz mountains. The previous reviews were really helpful as one orders at the counter and then can grab a spot inside our outside. The outdoor seating is nice and spacious. We've only tried the pizza, and it is awesome. Hard to move onto anything else. The crust is sooooo good and the pizza is wood fired and so good. They have a great selection of IPAs and wines and Ralph the owner offered to let my wife try the two white wines she was considering. Sometimes there are cute cats around and we've seen a chicken making the rounds (Gertie). The prices are really good too, a hidden gem just off the 17. ”
“ I accidentally ordered the bake your own pizza n they were still nice enough to cook it for me pizza taste dank aF too ”
“ We drove from Manteca just to see my hometown. It was a delight to find out the owner of this restaurant went to Los Gatos High same year as me. The tri tip sandwich I split with my husband and very good! I had my Pomerania with me so it was nice to have a nice place outside by redwood trees to enjoy my sandwich. I loved the ambiance of the trees and down home feel. The music I like was also playing. The service was great as when the sandwich was ready they brought it out to us. We will do this again. All the times I stopped I would just get a drink at the store. Now I'll get something to eat and drink across the way at the Italian restaurant. ”
“ Don't judge a book by it's cover you conceited silicone valley masters of the metaverse! The wood fired pizza will knock your socks off and leave you salivating for more, as well as the rest of the menu. The beer selection instore and on tap stands tall with your Highbrow compatriots downtown. Not to mention that if you're in a pinch for some propane, you can get your fill at Nonno's as well. The atmosphere is way relaxed and the outdoor seating is perfect on a warm night for guzzling some cool brewski's on tap and that occasional need to squeeze one out. Cheers! ”
“ We've been eyeing a visit to Nonno's for a while and we finally had the chance to visit today. I think I now understand the reviews. This place really defies definition -- ordering is like going to a market deli, where you go to the counter but there's no table service; the service is attentive but it's so confusingly quiet they don't move with a sense of urgency; the seating is like a beer garden; the whole place has a family/community-run vibe. Only the pizza signals this as an Italian restaurant. And it's great pizza. We stopped after a fantastic hike off Bear Creek Rd. The beer selection is AMAZING and SO cheap - you'd think it was 2004. I asked about wine by the glass and the owner came out to give me some options. And oh boy the pizza! Piled with toppings and quality ingredients and a GREAT crust. I could see that if it had been taken out a minute earlier it might have been underdone but ours was fabulous. So don't expect an Italian "restaurant" but if you're open to it do expect a lovely experience. ”
“ Food? Excellent. Pizza? Incredible (already said food but like, you get it) Drink choice? A little odd, not gonna lie -- no Coke Zero. Tons of IPAs. Stuff like that. Seating inside? Uncomfortable and lacking Seating outside? ....idk, really weird Service? Really rude and judgmental for some reason..? Prices? The best ever I've come back again and again and I will keep doing so Just wish people would be kinder when dealing with other people here ”
“ The is a gem of a restaurant on the hill. The pizza is wood fired and delicious. Beer on tap and an amazing outdoor area with picnic tables. BBQ entrees are amazing. Bocce ball and fire pits complete the scene. I don't know why this place isn't packed every single weekend. We will be back with our friends! ”
“ This is a little gem of a restaurant tucked away in the Redwood Estates Neighborhood. Found this place after hiking close by. You'll order at their counter inside and then go outside the front and around to the right where there are two seating areas. The first is a small garden area with a few tables. Keep going around a fence snd you'll walk into s larger area with picnic tables and a couple of lanes of bocce ball. This area also has a bbq going that helps supply some of the meats they use for their sandwiches I got the tri tip sandwich as that is their most popular. The meat was tender, the bread was fresh as were all the ingredients. The French dip and fries were also a good choice. As for the desserts - homemade, freshly made. So many options!! I had to have their chocolate cake and was very pleased. This will be a great summer time outing as it is very shady and outside dining is a bit cold right now. They also need a better way to direct the bbq smoke away from the dining area. ”
